Sheets Connector is a Google Sheets™ add‑on that enables users to sync, copy, and map spreadsheet data between Google Sheets files.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we access, how we use it, and how we protect user data.
We comply fully with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Sheets Connector only accesses the minimum amount of user data required to provide the service.
We access:
This includes file names, file IDs, and sheet names.
We use this information to allow users to select a source or destination spreadsheet in the Google Picker.
This data is not stored outside your Google account.
We read and write the spreadsheet cells inside the specific sheets that the user selects.
This is used only to sync rows based on user‑configured mappings.
We never store any sheet data on external servers.
We store sync profiles, selected file IDs, column mappings, and auto‑sync options.
This information is stored locally inside the user’s Google account using Google Apps Script PropertiesService.
We store the license key entered by the user in order to validate the license.
This is stored securely in PropertiesService and is not shared with third parties.
Sheets Connector does not:
Access any data outside the spreadsheets the user explicitly selects
Access Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, or other services
Read the user’s full Google Drive contents
Collect personal information beyond what is required to function
Track user activity or usage behavior
We only interact with files manually chosen by the user through the Google Picker.
We use data solely to perform the following functions:
Load spreadsheet headers and cell values to prepare syncing
Write mapped rows to the destination spreadsheet
Validate license activation
Store user preferences for convenience and automation
We never sell, share, or use Google user data for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
Sheets Connector does not store spreadsheet content on external servers.
The only stored information is:
License key
Sync configurations
User profiles and auto‑sync settings
These are stored locally inside the user’s Google account via Google Apps Script PropertiesService.
No external servers store any Google user data, and no copies are retained after uninstalling.
Sheets Connector uses Google’s built‑in security infrastructure and adds additional protections:
All data access is performed through Google‑managed OAuth authentication
Only the files the user explicitly selects are accessed
No spreadsheet content is transmitted to external servers
License validation communicates only the license key, never Google user data
All stored data (profiles, license keys, sync settings) remains inside the user’s Google account
We enforce the minimum necessary OAuth scopes, following Google’s Limited Use policy
These measures ensure that sensitive spreadsheet content remains protected and private.
We do not share, transmit, or disclose Google user data to any third party.
The only external request is to validate a license key, which does not include any Google user data or spreadsheet content.
We do not sell or provide user data to advertisers or external companies.
Users can delete all stored data at any time by:
Uninstalling the Sheets Connector add‑on
→ This automatically removes all stored PropertiesService data
Or manually clearing data in Apps Script:
Extensions → Apps Script → Project Settings → Delete Properties
We keep no external copies of your data.
Sheets Connector is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as needed. The “Last Updated” date will always reflect the latest revision.
