Sheets Connector is a Google Sheets™ add‑on that enables users to sync, copy, and map spreadsheet data between Google Sheets files.
This Privacy Policy explains what information we access, how we use it, and how we protect user data.
We fully comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including all Limited Use requirements.
We access file names, file IDs, and sheet names solely to let users select a source and destination file through the Google Picker.
This metadata is not stored outside the user’s Google account.
We read and write spreadsheet cell values inside the sheets the user selects.
This is required to:
load headers
sync new rows
apply mappings
run optional sorting, grouping, and aggregation
We never store sheet content on external servers.
We store mapping profiles, selected file IDs, and configuration data inside Google Apps Script PropertiesService, which is tied to the user’s Google account.
We store the license key the user enters.
It is stored securely inside PropertiesService and never shared with third parties.
Sheets Connector does NOT:
access files the user did not select
read the user’s full Google Drive
access Gmail, Calendar, Contacts, or any other Google service
store spreadsheet content externally
track user behavior
collect personal information unrelated to app functionality
All access is limited to files users choose manually in the Google Picker.
We use user‑approved data only to:
load spreadsheet headers and data
write synced rows into the destination sheet
apply user‑configured processing options (sort, group, aggregate)
validate license activation
store user settings for convenience
We do not use Google user data for advertising, analytics, or profiling.
Sheets Connector does not store any spreadsheet content on external servers.
The only stored information is:
license key
sync profiles and user configurations
This information is stored locally in PropertiesService.
Uninstalling the add‑on removes all stored data.
No external backups or copies are retained.
Sheets Connector protects user data by:
using Google’s OAuth system for secure authorization
limiting access strictly to user‑selected files
never sending spreadsheet content to external servers
transmitting only the license key to the licensing server
storing all settings inside the user’s Google account
requesting only minimum necessary scopes
These measures ensure user data remains private and protected.
We do not sell, share, or disclose Google user data.
The only external communication is the license key validation request, which contains no Google user data.
Users may delete all stored data by:
uninstalling Sheets Connector
or manually clearing stored properties:
Extensions → Apps Script → Project Settings → Delete Properties
No external data remains after deletion.
Sheets Connector is not intended for children under 13.
We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy as needed.
The "Last Updated" date reflects the latest version.
